Actresses Tracee Ellis Ross and Regina King host Black Girls Rock!

Chevrolet partnered with Black Girls Rock! for another year to support brilliant and beautiful women of color who bring their best to the music culture.
Founded by celebrity DJ and philanthropist, Beverly Bond, BLACK GIRLS ROCK! is dedicated to promoting positive images of women of color in mass media and is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been dedicated to the healthy development of young women and girls since 2006.
CHEVY presents a $25,000 check to the BLACK GIRLS ROCK! Foundation during the annual ?Shot Callers Dinner?. This year?s performers included Alicia Keys, Brandy, Keyshia Cole, India.Arie, Ciara and SWV, who performed at New York City?s historic Paradise Theater for BLACK GIRLS ROCK! Awards 2012, the electrifying awards show dedicated to recognizing the achievements and accomplishments of remarkable women of color.

Chevrolet, in its second year of supporting BLACK GIRLS ROCK!, was proud to sponsor the tribute to Kerry Washington whose parents were in attendance to show their support. This year?s event was hosted by actresses Tracee Ellis Ross and Regina King.
