Lamar 12 & Under All-Star baseball team plans fundraisers to help defray expenses to Midwest Plains Regional Tournament

The Lamar 12 & Under All-Star Team will be holding several fundraisers to help defray traveling expenses to the Cal Ripken 12 & Under 70' Midwest Plains Regional to be held in Alliance, Nebraska from July 26-July 31.

?Teams competing in the regional will come from Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado, Iowa, Missouri, and Minnesota.

The fundraising plans for the Lamar team will include selling raffle tickets for $5 each for two 26-pound boxes of ground beef. The two winners will be notified by phone on Wednesday, July 24. To buy tickets please contact, Terri Farmer 688.8714 or Tammy Turpin-Martinez 688.8799.

On Saturday morning, July 21, the team we will have a bake sale at Wal Mart.

On Tuesday, July 23, members of the team will be downtown washing windows for a donation and doing a traveling bake sale as well.
