Florida Man Gets 20 Years For Cousin's Death

Associated Press Release

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- An Orlando man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for his part in a drug robbery in Tallahassee that left his cousin dead.

A Leon County judge sentenced 20-year-old Denzell Billings-Harrison this past week. He was convicted in May of second-degree felony murder and two counts of armed robbery.

Court documents show that Billings-Harrision and his cousin, Jamal Kee, attempted to buy marijuana in February 2012 from three other men at the Shaker Heights Apartments. After the men realized the cousins were trying to pay with counterfeit money, a fight broke out.
