Microsoft Corp. and Google Inc. have both committed to the United Kingdom's efforts to crack down on child pornography.

The Financial Times reports Prime Minister David Cameron put the pressure on companies like Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT), and is expected to say in a speech Monday the search-engine companies have a ?moral duty? to tackle child pornography.

Cameron has given the companies until October to strengthen their efforts against child pornography and is expected to say on Monday that "this is quite simply about obliterating this disgusting material from the net ? and we will do whatever it takes.?
